    The part of the remote

    "The part of the remote that stays in the fireplace to connect with the handheld remote itself has no cover and stands out like a sore thumb and looks terrible. We did use the cover from our old log set and burner to cover it. The remote is ONLY to urn on or off the fire, it does Not adjust the flame. It does give you the temperature but you can't set it and it depends where the remote is in the room to what temperature it reads."
