The thrill of a new grill

"I replaced my 20 year old grill with this Napoleon 700 series grill. The technology on this grill has come a long way compared to my old grill. Cooks great, doesn’t flare up like my old grill. It has an insulated hood that keeps a consistent temperature. I used the rotisserie for the first time this weekend and it worked great. I couldn’t believe how quiet it was. With the back infrared burner it cooked very evenly. The lights on the grill work great for cooking at night and they look pretty cool too. I’m very happy with this grill and would highly recommend it. It’s definitely worth what you pay for it"

"The Napoleon grill installation instructions were very easy to follow, even the electrical connections. I like to cook on the grill but I always hade to use a flash light but not with the Napoleon 700 grill. The grilling with the Napoleon grill is much easier with the lighting it has and makes cooking on it much easier when you can see what your cooking. The grill heats up fast and holds the temperature very well. I really like the lighting feature on the burner switches, Blue when a burner is off and red when a burner is on which is a great reminder when burners are still on in case things get busy and you walk away from the grill you can see at a glance a burner is still on. I have left my old grill on over night and emptied a full LP tank but not anymore. Great Grill! I highly recommend this grill."

Shipping issue and not working

"I purchased this grill during the labor day weekend sale. My landscape project was just starting and the grill needed to be on site for the crew to correctly construct the outdoor kitchen. When grill arrived a few weeks later, it was placed on the pallet upside down. I contacted Napoleon with photos and concerns that the grill may be damaged due to it being placed and shipped upside down. (please see photos). Napoleon Support responded and asked me to let them know when it was installed and if any issues or damage was found. The grill was finally installed in Mid November due to the delays with weather and the landscaping company. The natural gas line was installed and the unit was plugged in. Unfortunately, the backlit lights for the knobs and inside the grill stays on and will not turn off. Also, the rear burner does not ignite. In addition, the protective plastic covering that is taped to the outside of the grill left tape residue on the front sides of the stainless steel grill top. The tape residue doesn't seem to come off. On November 18th, I e-mailed customer support with these issues. I received a follow-up reply saying ""this e-mail address is no longer monitored for responses"". I've been trying to call customer support but have been unable to get any response from them. Would like to have customer support contact me."

Avoid to buy the 700 series counter top

"Bought a new 700 series and paint is peeling off after 3 weeks and the thermostat had always humidity inside. Try to exchange it for a new BBQ after 3 weeks but they refuse and they order me a new top . Unfortunately the cover is back order. I tried to put some pictures but I can’t they don’t let me add one Bought the BBQ a Després et Doyon in Brossard"

Loving our Built-in 700 - 32 grill in our outdoor kitchen

"I love my Napolean built-in 700 series 32. We just made a delicious rotisserie chicken, and everything else I have cooked on it is just great. It looks really great in our outdoor kitchen, and I live the in ternal and dial lights that change from blue to red when the burner is on. There a couple of things that I would appreciate seeing: 1) a cast iron grid option, 2) a sperate switch for the internal lights, and a grease tray liner. The grids and liner are available for other models, why not this grill??"

"Not good service on faults noticed on delivery. The infra red burner which is just a hot gas burner doesn’t heat equally. The temperature gauge on the lid fills up with water. No response from Napoleon despite me contacting them to let them know"
