The solid 304 stainless steel construction is designed for long term durability and ensures the grill will hold up to the elements. Each of the (4) main grilling burners are rated for a 12,000 BTU maximum and feature solid 304 stainless steel tube construction, and the stainless steel sear plates help protect the burners and provide even heat distribution, preventing hot and cold spots across the 500 square inch grill surface.

The patented "S" style wave grill grates are a signature of Napoleon grills and feature 7.5mm thick 304 stainless steel construction to provide long lasting durability and allow professional style grill marks. The unique Flame Throwing ignition provides a simple and reliable experience by shooting a flame to the burners, making start-up a breeze. The infrared back burner is rated for 18,000 BTU to allow professional style rotisserie cooking with the heavy duty rotisserie kit, and the infrared "Sizzle Zone" is rated for 14,000 BTU and can reach up to 1,800 degrees F to achieve steakhouse quality searing. "My first Napoleon grille and couldn’t be happier with the purchase. I was looking for something to replace my 28yr old grill. After spending time with the sales guy and some additional research, I decide to make the move. Beside looks, lifetime warranty, and local support, this grill cooks so evenly I could not believe it. I’ve also purchased a smoke box which seen to work very well for it not being a dedicated smoker. I also like the fact that it is made here in North America. You can't go wrong with a Napoleon."

"Nice grill, very happy with it. Cooks quickly and evenly, comes with many of the most useful attachments. Clean and attractive too. _x000D_ Small details need work, however. I replaced the plastic roller wheels with rubber so they would hold up on my patio. Door hinge spacers do not remain in place, one bleew away in the wind. _x000D_ Mostly pleased with my purchase"

"Nice bbq. However I followed the grill seasoning and initial 1 hour burn in. Bbq lit twice during father’s day gathering, then would not lite with igniter, had to use a bbq lighter. Hopefully you can assist me with this issue. Not a good look with 20 plus people looking on!! Note: Due to this issue rating is a 3, but will update once problem is rectified."

Very nice but lacks some details

"This is a very nice grill but it could have been even better with a little more attention to detail. For example, the door handles should have been made with the same material as the grill box handle, instead of cheap lightweight plastic. Also, a better way to store utensils could have been made for easier accessibility than the tiny hooks behind the doors. These might seem minor but provide a significant difference to the grill master."

"Rocky Dylan is the most pleasant sales person I met in a long time. He took the time to explain the various models, accessories. I asked for the store to set-up the BBQ, deliver it and took away the old one. Everything was executed to the perfection. The model we chose (Prestige EVO LP with infrared side and rear burner, stainless is very well built and heats more efficiently than the older one we had purchased 16 years ago (another Prestige one)."

Great grill !

"Received the grill on a pallet, very well packaged. I assembled the grill mostly by myself with a little help lifting the lid/head assembly on to the frame. Took me approximately 2 hours using the assembly guide and a YouTube video. I must say the assembly guide could have been better, illustrations not very clear and I relied on the YouTube video mostly. Generally speaking not a huge effort to assemble. I assembled the grill in my garage and rolled it out across my lawn to the back deck of my house, fortunately the casters are very heavy duty so no problem there. The grill is beautiful, very well made and has some great features. I love the lit knobs that tell you when the gas is on - functional as well as aesthetically pleasing. Grill grates and flavor bars are heavy duty and work well. The grill fired up right away and reached temperature quickly. First cook was some thick sirloins that I prepared using the sear station which worked fantastically, then indirect heat to finish off. Steaks cooked perfectly and were a hit with my guests for dinner. Haven’t tried the rotisserie function yet but plan to cook a whole Hutterite chicken using it. Previously had a major competitor’s grill for decades and switched to Napoleon because of build quality, feature set and the fact that it was manufactured in North America. Extremely pleased with my purchase, highly recommend."

The beginning of a beautiful relationship

"The new BBQ is performing exactly as I had hoped it would. Using 3x times a week. Burgers, hot dogs, steaks, rotissary chicken all coming out perfectly. Replaced a 25 year old BBQ that had become hard to control temp, and we started using it less and less. Now back to frequent BBQ meals. Almost wished we bought the next size up . . . but not a complaint - just that we are filling the grill with all meats and sides."

Second Prestige 500

"After 12 years with my first Napoleon Prestige I decided it was time for a new BBQ. It was a no brainer to select Napoleon again (as a Canadian manufacturer) and the Prestige 500 RSIB had the features that are of interest to me. When the new one arrived it was obvious that the materials used were equal to or better than those used in the one I bought in 2014. I'm looking forward to cooking with my new Prestige for the next dozen years."

Not Meeting Expectations

"I spent a lot of time researching grills and decided o splurge a bit and get the Napolean Prestige model. I have used it a few times with disappointing results. I cannot get the side searing burner to lite without using a flame gun. I hear the gas and the "clicking" of the starter. The biggest issue that I have is that the grill is on full and it only gets really hot in the back half. Even when the grill is on for 20 mins, I can practically hold my hand over the front half of the grill without much fear of burning my hand. I lose half the grill and cant get "grill marks". The grill is natural gas. I paid $300 for assembly, delivery and install from a local store. What a waste."

"The only thing I wish is that it also came with a side burner for boiling water and other things to be completely out of the house. Minor is the folding side table where I wish it locked in tighter. Otherwise great!"
