This system also scores heavier concentrations of surface glaze for faster penetration of liquid creosote remover treatments. These steel rods are 1/4-inch in diameter with Torque Lock Connectors. When used with a 1/2-inch electric drill, the TLC fittings ensure tools may be rotated in either direction without separation.
