The flame modulating receiver connects to a Robertshaw valve. The first time I tried

"The first time I tried to call before I ordered it went to some sort of spam. I tried calling twice, both times it was spam. I ordered without asking my questions if the system was compatible. Ended up the receiver was not compatible with my fireplace. I did a couple calls and emails with tech support. I had to return the receiver. They would let me order over the phone, go to a dealer and order. As far as the return goes, if you do a return and you had free shipping, you have pay to return it and pay the original shipping, even though I kept a second piece of the order. Plus, they shipped to me by USPS, which is the worst shipper of packages, but then I had to return by FedEx, which involved me driving 84 miles out of my way to get it a FedEx facility. I know SkyTech is a small business, But they have very poor customer service and not very good website to try to order from. I ended up buying the receiver I needed off of ebay. I admit I made mistakes, I am not throwing all the blame on them. I accept some responsibility."
