Designing a Family-Centered Outdoor Escape
Dan specializes in luxury backyard renovations and builds. When the customer first asked about a pool, plans quickly expanded. It became clear the homeowner wanted a complete outdoor living space, not just a pool. The goal was a versatile, all-season retreat. Additionally, it needed to work for summer parties, fall cookouts, and cozy winter nights. To achieve that, the space required high-quality products that were also visually appealing. Luckily, Spotix’s family of brands offered exactly what was needed. From selecting the perfect grill to installing a massive custom fire feature, every detail mattered.
Expert Guidance Meets Premium Products
To bring the vision to life, Dan turned to Lucas, a Spotix Product Specialist, for guidance. Without a specific grill or kitchen setup in mind, the customer leaned on Lucas’s expertise for help comparing premium brands and understanding key features. After multiple discussions (and a few helpful cooking videos), the decision was made: an Alfresco 56" Built-In Grill and Griddle, paired with an Alfresco Insulating Jacket, would anchor the new outdoor kitchen. Two Blaze Glass-Door Beverage Coolers and a TrueFlame Ice Maker added both style and convenience.
Spotix did not have a solution for the cabinetry. However, that wasn’t going to stop Lucas from creating the perfect backyard for the homeowner. So, Lucas worked with Dan to find a company that could manufacture custom outdoor-rated cabinets tailored to the customer’s vision. This ensured both form and function met the high expectations for the space.
To complete the entertainment area, the team installed three Twin Eagles Infrared Patio Heaters and a matching vent hood to ensure comfort, no matter the season.
For the fire feature, Power Concrete created a custom 62” diameter firebowl enclosure with custom LED lights, and Spotix supplied the HPC Fire Penta Electronic Ignition Burner insert. Due to its size and weight, workers used a crane to carefully lift and place the fire bowl into the backyard. It was an unforgettable final step in a carefully orchestrated transformation.

The end result? A show-stopping backyard that blends luxury with livability. From sizzling summer cookouts to warm gatherings around the fire pit, the team designed every square foot of the outdoor space with purpose. The homeowner now has an entertainment-ready backyard that’s as functional as it is beautiful. It was a true investment in family, fun, and unforgettable moments.
