Scott Ramspott is the Founder and CEO of Spotix and a recognized leader in the hearth, patio, barbecue, and outdoor living industry. Since beginning his career in 1998, Scott has accumulated more than 25 years of hands-on experience helping homeowners, contractors, builders, and designers create indoor and outdoor spaces built for gathering.

Before founding Spotix in 2011, Scott worked across nearly every side of the industry, including fireplace service and installation, retail sales management, and as an independent manufacturer representative. That diverse background gave him firsthand knowledge of the products, the installation process, the customer experience, and the challenges professionals face in the field.

Scott has remained actively involved in advancing the industry throughout his career. He has held National Fireplace Institute (NFI) certifications in wood, gas, and pellet appliances, contributed to the development of NFI certification exams, served on the HPBA Expo Committee, and spoken at industry conferences, regional HPBA affiliate meetings, pool and spa shows, and educational panels focused on hearth products, outdoor living, and fire features.

His expertise includes fire pit design, fireplace installations, outdoor living planning, outdoor kitchens, contractor support, product selection, and helping customers avoid costly mistakes before they happen. Scott has also worked closely with leading manufacturers to improve existing products, enhance product usability, and contribute ideas for new product development.

Since launching Spotix, Scott has helped guide more than 400,000 residential and commercial projects by combining premium products with expert guidance customers can trust. His philosophy is simple: "Buy nice, or buy twice."
