The Fire by Design SCG-FS Field Serviceable Standard Capacity AWEIS Electronic Gas Fire Pit Ignition System is a premium, weather-resistant system for automated outdoor gas fire pit ignition in both residential and commercial settings. This electronic gas fire pit ignition system uses a hot surface igniter to light the pilot flame, while a flame-sensing thermocouple monitors for ignition and safely shuts off gas flow if the flame is lost - ensuring reliable, automated performance and safety. Fire by Design's patented AWEIS ignition system operates automatically when power is applied, making it easy to control with a switch, timer, remote, or home automation system (controls not included). Choose from natural gas or propane and multiple power options: 120VAC (plug-and-play), 24VAC (hardwire with included transformer), or 30VDC swimming pool certified (power supply sold separately). Compact and durable, the 316 stainless steel valve box measures 4.375" x 4.375" and features 1/2-inch FPT connections. Each unit includes a commercial-grade pilot, ignition module, heat deflector shield, and installation instructions for easy setup. Note: 12 gauge wire required for all hardwired installations.
