Would not recommend
"I bought this yesterday. I used a generous amount of oil, my veggies still got stuck to it. I tried cleaning it with salt and hot water + putting oil as directed (see the picture) it still not clean. Plus it made a gigantic amount of fumes in the house. I used it on my oven with canola oil not even on max but in 6-7 (medium heat). Im sad I bought it and trow the box because that is a 80$ in desappointement ill never get back. Never again ! On the plus side, my veggies got the stripes I wanted. . ."

This Napoleon pan is great in conventional ovens
"As part of the testing team, I had to opportunity to test this Cast Iron Griddle Pan. I never used Napoleon products in conventional oven before but I was impressed by this pan. It is robust and quite thick so it keeps the heat long after it is removed from the oven. The famous vaved sear marks add a nice touch ""Napoleon touch"" to the beef roast and fish portion."

Versatile shape
"I received the Napoleon Cast Iron Griddle Pan for review, and my first impression was how robust and well-made it is. This pan truly lives up to the high-quality standards of Napoleon's BBQ range. The cast iron design, combined with its versatile shape, makes it perfect for both grilling on the main BBQ and using on the side burner. For my first cook, I used it to sear chicken breasts, followed by sautéing fresh-cut vegetables. The pan heats evenly, allowing for consistent results, and the food turned out beautifully. This is a good addition to my grill setup, and I recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their grilling experience. My next cook will be definitely a steak and make a flavorful sauce from the steak drippings."

Nice griddle
"I want to thank Napoleon for sending me this to demo. This griddle is a good size for two people heats up fast, and maintains an even temperature across the griddle surface. I cooked chicken on the stove, bratwurst in the toaster oven, and steak with vegetables on the sear zone with this thing. All of the food cooked and turned out great. I would have giving this five stars except for a few things. You can’t really get that nice crust on a steak like a traditional cast iron pan and it’s really hard to clean due to the raised grates. If that’s the only two complaints I really have they are easy to get past. I would recommend this product."

Well made, heats perfect
"I recently received this as a tester sample from napoleon. My first impressions are that it is a great piece of cookware. The signature wave forms that Napoleon is known for make an amazing surface for cooking. The logical choice was to try grilled cheese, it did not disappoint! Easiest and fastest grilled cheese, I have ever made! I plan to use this almost daily. The griddle felt durable and well cast, nothing stuck to it, it heated fast and evenly, and kept a consistent heat across the entire surface."

Great Griddle Pan!
"Disclaimer: This item was received as a promotion. The cast iron griddle pan is a great addition to any grill and cooking setup! At a larger grill out I will usually prepare some chicken or shrimp for those that do not want burgers, brats, or steak. This pan is the perfect for that job without taking up too much grilling real estate. It is also the perfect size for grilling sides like asparagus or mushrooms. The wave sear marks are a nice addition as well. I will certainly use this indoor during the winter months. The dual handles are helpful for stable carrying when hot with grill gloves."

Ideal size for every day use
"I received this product courtesy of @napoleonproducts in exchange for my honest review. The Griddle Pan is the pan I've always wanted, it is the perfect size for every day grilling. What this filled for me in my cooking repertoire is as follows, able to get amazing grill marks with the cast iron, able to keep all the seasoning bits and small veggies pieces from falling into the grill and lastly the size makes this easy to clean. A prefect match and combo for me. My first and likely most frequent use for me is grilled veggies. Next up for me is to give this a go on the stove now that winter has arrived and enjoy the grill flavour experience all year round. I want to further focus on the importance I place on the size, Cast Iron isn't the lightest thing in your kitchen and thus the larger griddles and options for me are a royal pain to clean, so I avoid them like the plague."

Perfect for the sizzle zone!
"I received the cast iron grill pan from Napoleon at no charge as part of the beta program, but the review is my own and it's how I feel. I used the griddle pan today to sear off a two inch thick striploin that I had cooked sous vide, and I'm really impressed. I've often found that the sizzle zone blackens the steak rub I use, but with the griddle pan, no worries at all. The sizzle zone got it really hot, and it leaves those. Trademarked Napoleon grill marks, but no worries about burning the rub. My only reservation is that it's a bit small. Perfectly fine for a 20 ounce steak, but I wouldn't want to be using it to feed 8! Still, highly recommended."

Grills like a BBQ
"I was sent this set for free by Napoleon. My immediate opinion is that I already love cast iron pans but they are awful to clean. Pros: •Multiple uses on BBQ, oven, stove top, even my glass top stove! •Get that BBQ taste and char from a pan. I can see this being especially useful on those Canadian winters days. •A perfect size, enough for a couple steaks. •No dripping mess on the grill. •Easy washing, the space in between the ridges are wide enough to get in and clean well. (By the way, I use soap on my cast iron then re-season it before storing) Cons: One and only con applies to all cast iron, it needs to be cleaned and seasoned. It can rust if not looked after. It’s a great pan to have as an option to continuing the grilling season indoors through the winter and take it out to the grill in the summer. Everyone should have one in the kitchen!!"
