"This griddle is a beaut! I love cooking with cast iron, but new 'pre - seasoned' items don't keep a good seasoning in use, so you lose the nonstick. This has a good enamel finish which is automatically nonstick. The slots and channels are perfect to get rid of excess grease. Good product, Napoleon! and the slots"
"Great addition to the charcoal grill. Typical cast iron ones rust but the enamel coating will really help in the Pacific North West where every day is humid. Great heat transfer once it's pre-heated. Was perfect for sausages and eggs in the morning. Looking forward to trying pancakes on this."

Its great for cooking up a variety of dishes, such as a complete breakfast, stir fry's, burgers, seafood, vegetables, and even fruits for dessert if you dare. Also the coating makes it a breeze to clean after use, unlike other cast iron griddles, that demand clean up time and need to be seasoned frequently. "This griddle is heavy, and that’s a good thing. The cast iron is thick, solid, and holds heat like a champion. The preseasoned surface is decent out of the box, but with a few uses and a little oil, it seasons up beautifully. You’ll feel like you’re cooking on heirloom cookware."

"This is a great cast iron skillet. I do a lot of Chevapi (Balkan caseless sausages) and these little suckers can cause some serious flair ups with all the grease. The skillet cooked them to perfection. Equal to, if not better than a restaurant. It kept consistent heat along the surface and never once burnt. Clean up was very easy. After wiping down with paper towel, hot water did most of the work for me. I was honestly very surprised. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star, was that it is pretty heavy, so picking it up and washing it can be difficult. Moving it during cooking is not really an option. Overall, would definitely recommend. This is going in my regular BBQ rotation for smash burgers, mixed veggies and of course. . . Chevapi."

"I the Napoleon reversible cast iron griddle as part of a consumer testing program. Although I do not have the Napoleon charcoal kettle, I have the Primo large oval charcoal grill which the Napoleon cast griddle fits perfectly on. We have been using the cast griddle on our Primo for a few weeks now, and it has completely exceeded our expectations. From the first cook, we noticed a huge difference in the flavour and juiciness of our food. We have done steaks, burgers and veggies and all have turned out incredibly tender and full of that classic smoky flavour. The meat has been noticeably juicier compared to using the traditional grills. The cast griddle has become our go-to method for grilling. One of the unexpected bonuses is how clean the cooking process is—there’s virtually no splash back or flare ups. And as an added bonus the griddle clean up is very easy. The grill is solidly built. Given the weight of the cast iron, heat distribution is excellent. Overall, we’re thrilled with the Napoleon cast griddle and would absolutely recommend it to anyone serious about elevating their barbecue game. It’s been an amazing addition to our outdoor cooking setup."
